The Global Coffee Platform (GCP) is a multi-stakeholder membership association that brings together key stakeholders in the coffee sector to work collectively towards a thriving, sustainable coffee sector for generations to come.
This case study explores how Partnerships for Forests (P4F) has supported the GCP to integrate agroforestry components into policies and processes in three East African countries: Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania. The aim of this initiative is to enhance the climate resilience of coffee production, promote biodiversity, and improve the livelihoods of coffee farmers.
It provides key lessons that haves been learned from the GCP agroforestry programmes in East Africa and how this work is enhancing coffee resilience and farmer livelihoods.
