Partnerships for Forests’ Deputy Team Leader and Regional Director for Southeast Asia – Morten Rosse – took part in the Forum for The Future of Agriculture 2018, held in Brussels on 27 March 2018.
The Forum for the Future of Agriculture is the premiere meeting place in Brussels to debate sustainable agriculture and environmental challenges. Each year, distinguished representatives from various leading international institutions, such as the European Commission, the European Council, the European Parliament, the food/farming chain, NGOs, and businesses from every sector present their diverse views to a packed auditorium.
Mr Rosse spoke at the ‘Best Practice Examples’ Session on ‘Healthy Future: Concrete Solutions Demonstrating Systemic Changes’. His speech focused on the theme of ‘Best-practice production and protection examples from the tropics’, during which he shared key learnings from our flagship projects, including the Ethiopian Wild Coffee initiative, with an audience of around 1700 attendees.
