Company overview

Tilaa produces a variety of sustainable products from integrated beekeeping and cashew cultivation. Currently, the company works with, and sources from a network of 500 women suppliers and plans to double that number in the coming year. Tilaa trains smallholder beekeepers in integrated beekeeping and cashew production to meet international standards, and provides them with offtake agreements. The company’s product differentiation comes from producing mono-organic bee products, which means they contain nutritional elements only from cashew plants. Tilaa sells products to both industrial and domestic consumers including: pharmaceuticals and cosmetic industries, supermarkets, hotels, beverage companies and animal farmers. The company’s vision is to be the leading producer and supplier of bee and cashew products in sub-Saharan Africa.
